If you are fed up with rough, uneven yards filled with worm mounds and mole tunnels, we offer rolling with a 4-ton dual drum packer with a vibrator to effectively smooth rough spots and erase mole tunnels and mounds. We are going to do the majority of our rolling in March or early April after the ground first thaws so please schedule as quickly as possible. We also switched to a 4-ton roller from the 2-tom we used before, which give even smoother results and allows us to roll when the ground is dryer and still achieve great results. Many people who roll their yards also want to aerate to relieve compaction caused by rolling, and to allow the grass roots to expand and strengthen to avoid drought kill and disease.
